Marine biologist with extensive experience in the management of companies in the aquaculture sector: CEO of DYLCAN, CEO of ADSA and the TINAMENOR Group, member of the Board of Directors (1991 - 2012) and President (2007 - 2009) of APROMAR. He has also been a member of the Advisory Council for Fisheries (200 - 2010) and R&D&I (2005 - 2007) of the Government of the Canary Islands and a member of the AECOC Seafood Products Committee (2005 - 2010).

Graduate in Marine Sciences and MBA in Business Administration and Management. Technologist, innovation manager, expert in socioeconomics and Blue Economy strategy. He has held various positions as project and transfer technician at the Canary Islands Institute of Marine Sciences (2005-2008) and other entities, coordinator of the innovation area (2009 - 2021) and technical director of CETECIMA (2022 to present).

Communication area /digital

Graduate in Psychology from the U.N.E.D. Her career includes practical experience in design and graphic arts, communication and digital transformation. Currently, in charge of the communication area and technician in digital transformation projects.

Noemí Armas

Area Coordinator

Technical Industrial Engineer, specialising in Industrial Chemistry with a Master's Degree in ICT Solutions for Wellbeing and the Environment from the University of Las Palmas. Project technician specialising in innovation management, data analysis and processing, and development of knowledge products on Blue Economy. Currently, coordinator of the innovation area of CETECIMA.

Daniel Reina

Technologist

Industrial technical engineer specialising in industrial chemistry and master's degree in chemical science and technology. Experience as R&D technician in renewable energy projects, quality control technician in a desalination plant and innovation manager. Currently technologist in the innovation area of CETECIMA.

Marta Van Ginkel

Technologist

She holds a degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology from Imperial College London and a Master in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is a technologist in innovation projects, focusing on areas related to marine litter, circular economy, sustainability and geographic information systems.

Álvaro Martín

Technologist

Naval Engineer and Master in Naval and Oceanic Engineering. Specialised in decarbonisation of maritime transport and port operations and energy planning of marine renewable installations. He has held technical positions in different areas of the naval industry (Navantia) and technical offices (Ghenova Ingeniería) and technologist and management of European and national innovation projects in the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN).

INTERNATIONAL AREA

Patricia Solinis

Area Coordinator

Graduate in Business Studies, Executive Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management and Professional Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. Solid international career, business development and project management as PROEXCA delegate at the Spanish Embassy in Mauritania and representative of the decentralised cooperation of the Canary Islands in the Technical Cooperation Office (AECID). Currently, coordinator of the international area of CETECIMA.

Cécile Perrot

Project technician

Master's degree in International Trade and Master's degree in integrated management of tourist destinations. Project technician with several years of experience in the elaboration, management and monitoring of European projects (especially cooperation, INTERREG MAC, and humanitarian aid). Knowledge of Latin America and Africa, and knowledge of languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese and English).

Rebeca Cejas

Project technician

Graduate in Law and Master in International Business. She has international experience in the Spanish Embassy in Colombia and the Spanish Consulate General in the Dominican Republic, as well as in business internationalisation, business development, project management, multilateral financing and digital transformation in the maritime sector. She specialises in the Latin American and West African markets.
